International Law

International law is the body of laws that exist governing relations between countries or “nations” and their respective populations.  Many of these rely on international norms prohibiting heinous crimes like torture and genocide, and promoting human rights.

International lawsuits often arise when an international norm has been broken by a country, causing harm to another country or a plaintiff within another country.  These can include lawsuits against foreign governments, companies or individuals. Examples of our services include:

  • Cases before the Inter-American Court
  • International Commercial Litigation
  • Lawsuits dealing with International Contracts
